Daily Schedule
During the course of a typical day, the children spend the first 30 minutes in free play (either indoor or outdoor, weather permitting), followed by circle/meeting time (which entails music, fingerplays, puppets, books, movement,calendar, weather and much more), Bathroom visit, snack, teacher organized activity, more music, and more free play, followed by clean up time. Half day children leave at 12:00pm.
Where appropriate, lunch follows (student supplied), with a rest period and a planned activity to wrap up the day. Pick up time is no later than 5:00pm
The staff of Little Folk Farm is dedicated to providing a equal balance of active and quiet periods, fine-motor and gross motor activities, indoor and outdoor times, individual and group
activities and teacher directed and child initiated activities. We provide a warm, loving
environment in which your child will have every opportunity to feel good about himself or herself,
and will be encouraged and motivated to experiment and participate in a new experiences without fear of failure.
We hope to make their nursery school experience a positive one which will invite your child to feel positive about going to school for the years to come.

Lunch
Children may bring their lunch and stay through any portion of the afternoon up to 5:00pm. The lunch group is supervised by qualified members of our staff. No advance notice is required to stay for lunch and/or the extended day. A late pickup fee is applied after 5:00pm. See price list for cost.
Semesters and Vacations
School opens in mid-September and closes in mid-June. School vacations and snow days coincide with those of the Ashland Public School system. "No School" information is announced on Fox 25 News.
