Our Program

All nursery classes at Little Folk Farm are limited in size to ensure a maximum amount of individual attention. Our staff is flexible, experienced and takes its direction from the children’s individual needs and interests. Teachers view each child as a separate individual, helping him/her to grow in all developmental areas. The student/teacher ratio is no more than 6:1. The transition from home to nursery school can be a time of adjustment for both parents and children. Our staff is experienced in assisting both students and parents in this transition.

For ages 2.5-5 we offer a choice of a 2-day program,a 3-day program, a 4-day program and a 5-day program.

We feel children learn best by “doing”. For this purpose, we concentrate on giving each child the opportunity to experiment, create, and satisfy their natural curiosity, using a wide variety of materials and equipment both inside and outside the classroom.
